FLIP THE MUSIC signee, Gyakie was releasing her first solo EP after a bunch of successful singles. She wanted this project to be the benchmark for her impact and contribution in the music industry. With a mix of soul, highlife, rnb and reggae, she aimed to reach more audience beyond Ghana.
As the release was during a COVID lockdown, we needed to heavily promote the project digitally. As the daughter of legendary highlife signer, we created a PR promotion around this, not for focus on her father's impact in Ghanaian music, but rather to highlight where she got her influence from. We partnered with DSPs such as Apple Music, Boomplay, AudioMack, Triller. We also partnered with digital media outlets such as iMullar, Ameyaw Debrah, Native Mag, Harmattan Rain among others to help promote her brand as the new star artiste in Ghana.
